Wild Bear Adventures is the tour to take!  It's personalized to your interests, surpassing any organized tour.  Because of  Eric's knowledge and background, he was able to answer all our questions. It was fascinating to hear about the reintroduction of the wolves and hear the stories of the first wolves that came back to Yellowstone.  We hiked up to an old wolves den, saw a baby pronghorn being born, and ospreys' nest and fishing.  We saw things we would've never seen on our own. It was a phenomenal day, exceeding our wildest imagination, truly fantastic!  If we ever come back up there, I would book another day or two with Wild Bear Adventures.  It's the only way to experience Yellowstone.

Wow! Greetings to you both.

Donna and I think it's awesome that you two have started this service. I couldn't think of two more wonderful folks to do this and we will highly recommend your adventures to anyone we cross paths with. We got to thinking about this and came up with an idea. We would like to backpack into an area not normally visited by the normal crowds. Nothing too outrageous, just a night or two or three. If that is something that is in your interest, let us know what's available and where we'd go.
We fondly remember our first Yellowstone adventure and feel fortunate that you Eric, got stuck with US. You are a big part of why it was so much of a successful trip for us.
And Barbara, we certainly can't leave you out. We are as much interested in the geology of Yellowstone as we are the solitude and animals there. Be prepared to answer a lot of silly questions from us. So, all I can say is...wow, what a team you two have put together. Ah, if we had life to do over again... we envy you.

Congratulations and good luck! Look forward to seeing you again,

Steve and Donna the badger spotter Eich

We always smile when clients leave happy. Eric and Joyce, we loved working with you and thank you for your endorsment!

"We had an outstanding experience with Wild Bear Adventures on our wildlife expedition and hike in northern Yellowstone this past September.  Eric was affable, knowledgeable and receptive to our questions.  He also had a knack for finding wildlife,  and in the course of a few hours we saw two black bears--one feeding a few feet from us, numerous bison, pronghorn--one of whom seemed to pose for us on a hill, elk, moose, mule deer--one of them a stag, mountain goats, a coyote, a young osprey in his nest and a bison skeleton.  We may have forgotten an animal or two.

There was a fine educational component to our experience.  We learned much about the habits and lifestyles of Yellowstone wildlife, particularly about Eric's specialty, bears.  He showed us how to respond to bears in the wild, particularly in the unlikely event a bear were to charge at us.  We were fascinated by his finding bear tracks in the woods, bear claw marks on trees and both grizzly and black bear hairs as well.

Our hike with Eric to and beyond Lost Lake took us through a most beautiful section of the park.

Barbara did the leg work on email beforehand and provided us with a tasty lunch.

We would recommend Wild Bear Adventures to anyone and would be happy to use them again."
